What are All-on-4 implants?
All-on-4 implants replace a full arch of teeth using four dental implants as anchors for a fixed prosthesis. These implants act as anchors for a full-arch prosthesis, giving patients a new, fully functional set of teeth — often all in one day.
Unlike traditional dentures, which sit on top of the gums and can move around or require adhesives, All-on-4 implants are permanently fixed in place, offering greater stability, comfort and confidence.
How do All-on-4 implants work?
The magic of All-on-4 lies in the placement of the implants:
- Two implants are placed vertically at the front of the jaw.
- Two are placed at the back at an angle to maximize contact with the bone.
This unique configuration helps avoid the need for bone grafting, which is often required in traditional implant cases. Once the implants are placed, a full set of teeth is attached — often on the same day.
